Definition: To fascinate is to grip so as to take away the power to move, act, or think for oneself; to attract and hold by charming qualities.

1. Because the Lord abhors evil, those who are drawn to it alienate themselves from Him.

2. It is not a sin to be tempted with evil; it becomes a sin when we choose to entertain it.

Romans 7:19-23 [The enemy is always trying to tempt us; but we don’t have to give in] For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

3. We can’t be thinking the Lord’s thoughts while enticed by Satan’s thoughts.
